Sun Valley Follies July 18, 2006

For my latest installment of “you only hurt the ones you love,” I’ll just dismiss with faint no praise the NY Times’ DealBook’s lame attempt to cover Herb Allen’s annual Sun Valley media schmooze with a “diary”. (Why not call a blog a blog?) There was just no reason to read DealBook. No dirt. No dish. Minimal scoop or analysis. No really silly pictures.

Heck, they missed the Ovitz sighting and the latest Murdoch-EchoStar rumors. And didn’t dig as deep into the YouTube story.
